Volunteer: Cultivate Change

"I always wondered why someone didn't do something about that.  Then I realized I was somebody." ~ Lily Tomlin

Drop-in and join us when it works for your schedule!

Bring some gloves, handtools and a bucket for weeds (or we'll gladly share some of our tools!)

Monday evenings

from 6 - 7pm (weather permitting)

We are committed to caring for the Alpine Garden (next to the Post Office along the river) and Riverwalk garden area. Park at the Post Office. We stop at 7pm and sit and enjoy our work together!

Thursday mornings at the Centennial Park Pavilion from 8:30 - 9:30am

Our volunteers care for the pots and gardens at Centennial Park as well as tend to our urns downtown.

Plan to stay for a cup of coffee and a few laughs with other volunteers.

We welcome people to join us as when they can. The best way to keep track of what we are doing is to get on our email list and watch our Facebook page.

We will have "pop-up" project days starting in spring to tackle specific areas.

We have people that tend to various gardens and may decide together when they will work on their area - maybe you can join them?

We'd love to partner with area businesses who offer VTO - Volunteer Time Off or Community Days of Service!

As of April 2025 we are a Participating Agency with Heart and Homestead of Washington County

Help With Watering

Drive our lawn tractor through downtown and never leave your seat as you water lamp post baskets, urns, and gardens. We have a crew so the schedule is shared among several people!  We always can use more help - maybe just a day or two as you have time.

Volunteer Stand
